Wild Wheat Bread of the Month: Spelt Porridge Sourdough


Wild Wheat's April creation is part of their New Zealand series where they showcase local producers.

The spelt porridge sourdough is a beautiful light textured bread, using locally grown spelt and a spelt starter. Spelt grains are ground down into porridge form to retain the nutrients and make it easier to digest.
